Free Co2 Offsetting
Carbon Offsetting means you first take responsibility for and then take action to remove the carbon from the atmosphere that your business has created.
Introduction
Many companies have already taken the first steps of reducing their energy consumption and in turn their carbon footprint. At Food for Thought we understand that not all businesses are in a position to spend time and money to achieve a carbon neutral model. We also understand that some companies struggle to identify ways of reducing their carbon emissions.
Although offsetting should never be used as an alternative to reducing your CO2, however sometimes the most responsible course of action is to remove the carbon we are responsible for. This is where the Food for Thought campaign can assist your company and customers to take action. Every time a diner purchases a tree for just 99p they have offset the Co2 for that meal, which means as a business you are reducing your carbon footprint at zero cost.
Every month we will supply you with a certificate which will include the number of trees your restaurant has planted since joining the programme. This means that within a few short months your restaurant could have a planted thousands of trees, helping the environment and rural communities in Africa and South America.
