Green Apple Awards

For 16 years The International Green Apple Environment Awards have been run by The Green Organisation - an independent, non-political, non-activist, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
The 2009 awards were presented by keen environmentalist and actress Alexandra Bastedo, star of the Champions and former Bond Girl.

Supported by the Environment Agency The Green Apple awards are seen as the most prestigious awards for environmentally aware companies on the international platform. This is why Food For Thought will nominate and work with partners to progress entries into the 2010 awards which will be held at the House Of Commons and will feature an environmental celebrity.
The Founder of Food For Thought was one of the guests at last year's awards and has agreed with the head of The Green Organisation that we can work together with our partners to do everything possible to win one of the prestigious awards for 2010.
